For investors
Invest alongside us.
A Warsaw-based pre-seed and seed fund, investing in AI and fintech founders. Mostly in Poland, selectively across the rest of CEE. If you want to back the region’s next generation with us, or through the fund itself, we should talk.
Digital Ocean Ventures is a pre-seed and seed fund based in Warsaw. We back AI-powered software and fintech founders, with the majority of the fund deployed into Poland, the largest CEE tech market, and selectively into the rest of the region.
We are backed by PFR Ventures as one of the first managers selected for the Starter 2.0 program, and we are actively working to grow our capital base for the next chapter of the fund.
If you are an LP, family office, or operator-angel interested in what is happening in CEE right now, we would welcome a conversation.
Why partner with us
What you get when you invest with, or alongside, DOV.
Polish market, CEE reach
Poland is the largest tech economy in the region, and it is where we spend most of our capital and most of our time. We stretch selectively into the rest of CEE when a founder and a market opportunity genuinely warrant it. Either way, we know the distribution channels, the local capital stack, and the hiring pools deeply.
Built companies before backing them
Three partners with a combined 40+ years in consumer, fintech, SaaS, and e-commerce. Founders we invest in get someone who has actually solved their problem once before, not only someone who has seen many decks.
Slow before yes, fast after
We look at several hundred companies every quarter. Well under 1% end up in the portfolio. That is how we keep the “no” honest and the “yes” loud, with time, reserves, and reputation behind every check.
Room at the table, sometimes
In a handful of deals each year, usually when speed or a specific strategic angel is needed, we open a small allocation to co-investors. Useful if you prefer curated access to a few high-conviction rounds rather than a firehose.
